All the trucks were burger trucks, except one. Crazy Fish Food Truck. I ordered the Vegan Paradise Roll : Arugula, avocado, cucumber, carrot, bell pepper and your choice of jalapeno, or cream cheese and dumplings (sly up sale suggestion….nice work ladies).
The food was beautiful. So much color…greens, orange, white, brown….just so lovely to look at.
With its self-serve dips, I chose Eel Sauce, wasabi, and soy. I found myself regretting dumping my soy sauce into the plate and kicking myself for not getting more eel sauce. The consistency was thicker, smoother than soy and I think blended well with the veggie taste.
This was the first time I’ve seen the park during the day and it’s a great environment. Plenty of seating, the sun warming up the area, and even varied reading material for everyone to use.
My personal favorite is the creative, yet expected, yarn bombing of part of the park.
Going back? Absolutely.
